Health

Kololi Beach Club is located on the coast and has it's own fresh water supply, so many of the health risks associated with other parts of Africa are not a worry, however, visitors to The Gambia should take Malaria prophylaxis before and after travelling. Yellow Fever vaccination is not required for entry into The Gambia, but may be necessary if travelling to or from other parts of Africa. We advise that you contact your GP before travelling for further information.

A good quality insect repellant is advisable and can be purchased from the mini-supermarket on resort. Many prescription medicines may not be available in The Gambia, so visitors are advised to ensure they have an adequate supply of any medicines the require for the duration of their stay. Most of all, don't forget your suntan lotion!
